Born and raised in Southern California, I now live just north of San Francisco with my husband and two cats.

I am a veteran of the U.S. Navy, where I worked as a payroll clerk.

From Excelsior College in New York, I have a B.A. in Liberal Arts (with concentrations in History, Music, and Mathematics), and I earned a Graduate Certificate in Topographical Archaeology from the American Academy in Rome.

I am certified in the proper procedures for tombstone cleaning and repair.

For over two decades, I taught in a private school, and I spent many years writing medical reports.

Most recently, my articles have been published in genealogical journals and weblogs.

My avocations include church singing, composing music, performing in musical theater, hiking, travel, knit/crochet.
